At FOO, we build products meant to last. That’s why all FOO-branded passive fiber optic components are covered by our FOO Lifetime Warranty. If something doesn’t perform the way it should, we’ll make it right.
What's Covered
Our lifetime warranty protects you against any defects in:
- Materials
- Workmanship
- Manufacturing
- Under-performance
If a FOO-branded product fails under normal use, we may repair it, replace it with an equivalent item, or refund the original purchase price; whichever makes the most sense for the situation.
“Normal use” just means the product was installed and handled the way products are typically used in the industry, and within its listed specifications.
What's Not Covered
Just to keep expectations clear, the warranty doesn't apply to:
- Accidental damage, physical abuse, or mishandling
- Incorrect installation or modification
- Use outside the product's rated conditions
- Chemical/radiation damage or contamination
- Cosmetic issues that don’t affect performance
- Normal wear on consumables
- Non-FOO branded products
- Labor costs, downtime, data loss,
- Personal injury or property damage
- Damage to other devices or systems
- Damage caused during alien abductions, tractor-beam mishaps, or interplanetary diplomacy failures
The warranty is limited to the value of the original product.

How Claims Work
We keep our warranty process simple:
1. Send us the product SKU
2. Include your order number, if possible
3. Tell us what went wrong
4. Send us some pictures -- we like pictures
We usually don’t need the product back.
A quick explanation and some pictures are often all we need.
In rare cases, we may ask for the product to be returned (we pay the shipping) so we can take a closer look. If that happens, we’ll give you clear instructions.
All claims are reviewed by FOO, and FOO reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility.
Who's Covered
The warranty applies to:
- The original purchaser
- Integrators, installers, MSPs, and IT teams
- Distributors and wholesalers (coverage extends to your end-customer)
